Born in New Jersey to Wauwatosa transplants, a part of Guy always felt like a fish out of water amongst the hustle and bustle of living outside New York City, which is why he loved moving to Whitefish Bay as a teenager - from its throwback Winkie’s Toys and Variety to its top-ranked Whitefish Bay High School, from Milwaukee’s Brewers and Bucks to Milwaukee’s Summerfest and Bradford Beach, and from Wisconsin’s 15,000+ lakes to Wisconsin’s delicious beer.
The seed for Guy's passion for real estate was planted in him at an early age by his parents whom he observed buy, renovate, and sell older homes all while raising a family in each and every one! Initially starting their HGTV-like adventure in New Jersey, Guy's parents eventually returned back to Milwaukee where they tackled more exciting projects including Whitefish Bay’s Renaissance-revival Uihlein mansion on Lake Drive and Fox Point’s mid-century modern Russell Barr Williamson ranch on Beach Drive.
This real estate seed continued to mature in Guy while he attended Northwestern University in Chicago simply by living in a city known worldwide for its architectural history, innovation, and experimentation. Eventually, this seed fully matured for Guy while he was living in Los Angeles where he embarked on a formal career in real estate sales. His proudest real estate achievement during those years was managing a boutique broker's Los Angeles-Westside office where he earned multiple customer service awards while closing 88 transactions worth over $69 million. Along the way, he honed his skills as a market analyst, innovative advertiser, efficient negotiator, open communicator, and reliable professional.
Despite loving California's sun and fun, the lure of returning to Whitefish Bay to raise two kids on the same streets where his teenage self felt most at home was just too strong for his wife and him to ignore. He now has the good fortune to continue his real estate sales career in the communities that he loves and respect so much closing over 130 transactions totaling over $51 million and counting.
